It’s a first person sci-fi exploration horror cyberpunk thing. I got this free on both EPIC and Amazon Games. With the upcoming release of a remastered version I thought I’d give it a try.
I’m sad to say: what a waste of time! While the environments look absolutely stunning, and the storyline is very intriguing, the player experience is pretty shite. While accessing some half-dead person’s memories I had to literally push the joystick forward for what felt like an hour, walking through an endless mess of a Silent Hill-like nightmare. All I could think was “get on with it, we get it”. One of those classic lost opportunities where the the focus was put on something other than the player having a good time.
