A super cute Unity game by Adam Robinson-Yu, initially developed over the course of three months with funding from Humble. I enjoyed every moment of it and can’t wait to pick it up again. The story, the look and feel as well as game mechanics are just pure joy: our anthropomorphic bird character (Claire) needs to hike to the top of a mountain so she can make an important phone call. On her way she needs to fulfil various missions and meets a bunch of colourful characters.
Adam explains a lot about the development process and techniques he’s used in this GDC talk. Well worth watching!
