When the reviews are “mixed”, a game like this could go either way. I’ve got a full-length review about this game, so I’ll keep it brief here. Essentially: THE worst onboarding experience in the history of gaming. No explanation of what to do, so whatever this game has to offer, I never got to see it. 3 hours in and I didn’t get a refund, being $30 out of pocket.
This is on my list of “check in again in the future”, and I appreciate Hello Games’ continuous updates and support on this game. At the same time, I’ve given this game a chance once, and the experience has scarred me for life. Might still make a fun stream and expose the shoddy oboarding.
