Grim Fandango

While funny, clever, witty and very addictive for a point and click adventure, unsolveable puzzles and terrible controls make it one of those games that could have been really nice, had someone done a playtesting session and addressed the issues honestly. I liked the humour and the setting, and we even had fun before getting stuck somewhere in the forest. After pulling through with the help of a walkthrough, we get stuck again several times and abort the 5 or so hours we’ve poured into this game, adding it to the endless list of “things we’ll never get to play to the end”.

If a game is turning into something you HAVE to play with a walkthrough, it’s best to delete and make a note: never touch again, and do not recommend.
