Funny story: I bought this shortly after it came out and had a feeling it was something I might enjoy. In August 2024 I tried it out during a live stream and neither got not enjoyed it. Here’s the evidence:
It was so bad I asked for a refund. A few months later, it popped up as part of my Huble Subscription and I got it back (together with all the then DLC cosmetics).
I gave Pacific Drive another shot about a year later, by which time the team have made a ton of improvements, or I was in a better place to enjoy it. By now I got super hooked and really enjoy this game. It’s like driving through Area X from the Southern Reach series!
